Thumbs up for EA Sports College Football 2012

The first sign of the 2011 college football season is here. EA Sports’ NCAA College Football 2012 was released Tuesday after much anticipation. There are many improvements and new features but are still lacking in a couple of areas. EA has integrated a much more realistic tackling options which adds a whole new dimension to the defense. As for new features, the one I really enjoy is a new coaching dynasty mode in which you can work your way up from coordinator of a small school to head coach of a major college. Uncharted 3 Beta available on PS3 Network

Starting July 5, Naughty Dog games will be releasing a beta version of Uncharted 3, available on the PSN under new releases. After playing it last night, I can say that it’s a game I’m looking forward to. While it will probably have one of the best plots of the year (they don’t skimp on story line), it is the multiplayer gameplay I will be looking for. The controls aren’t hard to pick up on if you have played shooters before but you have more of a third person view instead of a first person. Playstation Network has a demo for Motorstorm Apocalypse available now, but you have only until Tuesday, July 5 to download it. Although you have until July 5, gameplay will continue until July 7 – which gives you 2 extra days to play. For those of you who haven’t played the Motorstorm franchise before, it is a racing game that takes place in less than hospitatable conditions.
